On May 1, 2010, I graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical
University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Most recently, I have
been serving my Fourth and Fifth Semester Preceptorship on the Mother/Baby
unit and Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Capital Regional
Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee Florida. With guidance from my preceptor,
I have performed such nursing duties as IV therapy and catheter insertion
along with taking care of patients emotional needs through their birthing
experience. This experience has allowed me to increase my nursing skills
while also providing a broader base of medical knowledge.
In addition to my nursing skills, I will bring leadership and strong
organization skills to your corporation. My preceptors and advisors have
commented on my ability to comfortably balance my course work and clinical
experiences with my student leadership positions. I am very interested in
