SHIPPING/RECEIVING-WAREHOUSE POSITION

EXPERIENCE:

Fourteen years as Shipping Foreman for a Memphis Ford Dealership. Duties included shipping/receiving,

warehousing, inventory, deliveries, stocking/picking accuracy and daily

data entry of all incoming/outgoing vouchers. Scheduled shipments with major truck

lines, UPS, USPS and FEDEX.

Fifteen years as U. S. Army Logistics Specialist for the Defense Logistics Agency.

Duties included coordinated the re-warehousing of 11,000 line items (5000 tons) involving

5 major warehouses. Responsible for introducing a new weapons computer system

(approximately 12 million dollars) to the European theater. Developed and operated a

System that furnished government material and equipment to the contractor (Chrysler)

for incorporating into the Abrams tank. Enabling the contractor to meet the required

delivery of tanks to us forces and our allies.
