American Maritime Officers Union

August 1988 joined AMO Union and stared sailing as Third Assistant

Engineer.

Progressively raised U.S. Coast Guard License to Chief Engineer of Diesel

and Gas Turbine

of Unlimited Horsepower.

During the past 22 years sailed for two companies within the Union.

Presently sailing for Maersk Line Limited on a container vessel with liner

service from the

U.S. East Coast to the Middle East.

Hands on experience with many systems (electrical, pneumatic, steam,

hydraulic, hvac) and the components of these systems.

Some of my responsibilities include:

Directing vessel resources to maintain equipment to the standards

required by the

owners, operating company, DNV, USCG and other regulatory agencies.

Assisting the company with the formulation of budgets, planning and

the

implementation of same.

Maintaining inventory control.

Specifying the material and the equipment necessary to enhance

vessel's

performance.

Interfacing with multinational contractors to ensure repairs are

carried out in an

efficient and timely manner.

Upon graduating from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, I became a Project

Engineer at

Advanced Technology. I was involved in gathering information on new systems

for the U.S.

Navy's new class of destroyers.
