Employment Positions Held While Attending College
Present: FedEx Office
. Customer Service Associate: Duties include working with team members
to meet deadlines for projects, outsourcing and transmitting documents
online, using technology such as; MS-Project, MS-Access, MS-Excel, MS-
Word, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Outlook, to district Kinko's stores and
FedEx sites in order to establish quality documents and projects to
meet customer needs. Team members have the direct responsibility to
communicate with one another to meet team goals and honor customer
commitments.
Summer 2006: The Office of Bone & Joint Surgery
. Assistant: Duties included communicating with patients. Received and
prepped supply tray for the doctor in order to assist with suture
removals and injections. Provided assistance to the doctor when he
was casting and giving X-rays to younger children. File, faxed, and
set up MRI appointments for patients.
1999-2005: The Acorn Tree
. Administrative Assistant: Duties included organizing customer files
for the owner, scheduling appointments with sales representatives and
for deliveries, skillfully creating and preparing spreadsheets,
emails, and presentations. Training new employees and establishing
good customer relations with the consumer was also necessary. An
extensive amount of organization was required during inventory and
throughout daily activities. Prioritizing my work to maintain smooth
progress and performance as a successful team member was essential.
Volunteer Experience/Achievements
Helped organize letter writing parties for Up til' Dawn, a charity
event that helps raise money for the cancer patients of St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital. While in college, developed a program
called, "Soldier's for the Seasons", in which our girl's dorm at the U
of M, put in a collaborative effort to collect donations for U.S.
soldiers. Have researched and volunteered at the United Service
Organizations of Fort Hood (USO).
