I am seeking an opportunity to apply my broad work experience and skills to the food service industry
while I attend restaurant management and culinary classes. Most recently, I was in a corporate company
as a project manager. I've recently had the opportunity to change careers and need to gain food
preparation and service experience on a larger scale to accomplish my goal of one day owning my own

As a second source of income to assist in my college education and to pay off student loans, I worked as a
line cook in family owned restaurants. My commercial cooking equipment experience includes griddle,
ovens, deep fryers, salamanders/top broilers, deli slicer, among others. I have been responsible for
preparation of seafood, beef/steaks/burgers, and chicken in addition to the preparation of specific recipes
such as schnitzel, paprikash, coq au vin, spaghetti sauce. In those roles I was responsible for food quality,
safety and inventory. At Morinko’s I was the sole cook during most of my shifts through dinner hours. I
have always had an excellent rapport with the wait and kitchen staff.
