I appreciate your taking the time to review my resume for consideration. I
am applying for a position as a Medical Assistant within your organization.
I will be finished with my MA program on October 21, 2010, and then I will
complete 180 hours of Externship at a local Urgent Care facility in CA.
I have earned Dean's List consistently throughout the MA program, as well
as perfect attendance. I am dependable, punctual, flexible, and a
dedicated team player.
While serving in the US Navy many years ago, I was hoping to go to Hospital
Corpsman School, but the Navy had other plans for me. My reason for
attending Carrington College California (formerly Western Career College)
was to pick up where I left off. Caring for others is my passion. It is
my chance to help and to heal.
I will be back in Virginia for good by mid-January, 2011 or sooner. My
parents and sister live there and I miss them dearly. I'm hoping to secure
a permanent position prior to moving back to VA in January. I can
interview by telephone, or we can schedule an interview in the middle of
December when I come back to Newport News for a week to visit my family.
