SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Possess twenty years of progressive responsibility in areas of

IT/LAN/WAN/ Telecom/Network Operation Center. The most recent

experience is in perimeter security services (extranet hosting

design and operation) and commercial MPLS network build, from

proof of concept till end of product life cycle, for upstream

Oil and Gas industry.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

Extranet Service Manager, IT Enterprises Security Services, Schlumberger,

Sugar Land, TX

Responsible for extranet hosting and perimeter security

service (eNet) for Schlumberger global business units.

Accountable for eNet design, hardware and software

standards, security policy design, site project budget

estimate, project management, service delivery

coordination, Network Operation Center (NOC) support

processes, service quality, third level escalation support,

eNet sites security policy audit, asset management, change

management approval, and full eNet life-cycle product

management.

Major accomplishment

Developed the global extranet infrastructure and hosting

service standard the first year. Built, consolidated and

transitioned sixteen new and legacy firewall infrastructures

and services into the new extranet infrastructure standards in

less than three years and without direct resource. Developed

extranet infrastructure security audit template for network

risk assessment and tighten/enforce security policy

compliance.

Sr. Network Architect/ Lead Technical Design Authority, Infrastructure

Services, Schlumberger Information Solution, Houston, TX

Lead Technical Design Authority to oversee/approve all

technical aspects of the commercial MPLS network outsourcing

project. Reviewed and approved over thirty British Telecom

technical proposals to outsource Schlumberger customer

networks to BT's core MPLS network. Responsible for

Schlumberger MPLS access network architecture, rollout of

Managed Communication and Customer VPN Service, and sustaining

operations of the core network. Provided RFI/RFP technical

design and cost responses for vendor and customer MPLS access

related activities.

Major accomplishment

Found ways to reduce hardware and project operation costs by

several hundred thousand dollars many time during MPLS core

network build and sustain phases.

Chief Network Engineer - Schlumberger Information Solution, Schlumberger

Network Solutions

Managed a team of six to build and sustain the commercial MPLS

network for the upstream Oil and Gas industry. Design

authority for core access, core network infrastructure and

customer access. Responsible for technical aspects of a new

MPLS network access design, engineering, build, support,

process and service development.

Major accomplishment

Built the commercial world class MPLS network, SPINE, for

upstream Oil and Gas companies with four classes of services

within a tight schedule. Developed service delivery support

processes to the network operation team to operate. Developed

Managed VPN Service for more than thirty external Oil and Gas

customers.

Sr. Network Engineer - Schlumberger Network Solutions, Schlumberger

Information Solution,

Projects included Window NT domain directory, video

conferencing collaboration, Voice over IP feasibility

study/pilot, budget plan to migrate company intranet and

customer networks to a commercial MPLS network. Provided

engineering support for Schlumberger intranet network.

Telecom/Project Engineer - Dow Chemical, Freeport, TX

Led service development and roll-out of global telecom

projects. Responsible for LAN/WAN implementation and network

management tools projects. Provided third level escalation

support for Global Resolution Center in areas of Telecom /

Networking and NT Servers.

Responsible for BAO-Houston 300+ node mixed platform network

of Windows and Macintosh workstations, Novell servers, LAN,
