First and Second Grade Teacher - 2007-2008

Develop grade-level appropriate curriculum for 1st and 2n students and lead instruction in

all basic subject areas: reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. Served as a

member of the reading and math textbook adoption committee. Provided afterschool

tutoring for the state tests.

Taught Various Grades of 1st, 2nd and 4th (Lead Teacher) - 2002-2007

Taught core curriculum, planned and implemented whole language units, served as

Science Coordinator for grades K-5th for Edison Schools nation-wide.

Introduced weekly parent newsletters and held frequent parent conferences
