Overview: Analyze technology trends and propose, lead and implement new strategies, directions and
teams for global IT environment. Manage Enterprise Architecture, Engineering (Client, Server, Network,
Middleware, DBA), IT Security and Business Analysis Teams. Oversee 10M+ departmental budgets,
services, and vendors. Computing environment includes: 15,000 PC’s, IBM mainframe, Dell, IBM and
Sun servers, running Unix, Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
• Design and implemented a cloud computing strategy (converts in-house on premise systems to
cloud services). Key successes include, replacement of on-premise Notes with Microsoft Online e-
mail (BPOS), cloud-based applicant tracking system and using Force.com as a platform for
application development. Launch of cloud services via a Biztalk Integration hub and Active
Directory authentication services.
• Defined and implemented WAN technology improvements resulting in 3M+ cost reduction. Multi-
year project converted MPLS WAN connected branches to DSL and/or cable modem technology.

• Defined and implemented global infrastructure Project Management Office (PMO), from inception
to project turnover ranging from 50K to 40M in scope, resulting in improvement of on time and

• Negotiated and integrated architecture reviews and analysis into project management methodology,
while working with business and technology leaders to secure concurrence for selection and
building applications based on agreed upon architecture directions.
• Led vendor evaluations to analyze products and select standard h/w and s/w, including internal and
external portals, hosting providers, workflow, application development suites, application servers,
and source control libraries.
• Implemented Delphi’s first internal web service for integrating an employee portal with Microsoft
directory, which provided user authentication and password reset as initial step to deploying a
