Objective

My objective is to find a constructive and professional environment to work in and be a

part of a company where I can learn and expand in different areas. I like to take on

challenges and be successful in any task that is put before me and that is why I have

enjoyed learning useful skills and gaining vital experience from a broad range of fields

I am interested in a position where I can grow and learn not only as an employee but as

skills. I also enjoy working with all types of people, interact well with others and adapt

Languages and Skills

I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I can read, type, write and communicate clearly

in both languages. I am also knowledgeable in Microsoft computer software such as

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Power Point.

March 2001 – July 2001

Burlington Coat Factory Miami, Fl.

I worked as a customer service representative/sales associate in three different

departments. My duties were to greet and assist customers and help them with their

purchases in Accessories, Coats, Leather Jackets and Fur Garments. My responsibilities

were not only customer satisfaction but also loss prevention of coats, furs, jackets and

other items in the Leather Gallery.

April 2002 – December 2006

Tropical Elementary Miami, Fl.

I had the wonderful opportunity to start out as a college volunteer at this Elementary

School and then was offered a permanent position. I worked with different types of

children and remained working at this location for four years as a one-to-one

paraprofessional. My duties included assisting a special needs child with daily academic

curriculum as well as helping the grade level teachers with classroom lessons and

activities.

April 2005 - July 2006

Teddy Creations Miami, Fl.

I worked as a customer service representative/sales associate and cashier. My duties were

to greet and attend customers and help them with their purchases and perform money and

credit card transactions in a quick and proficient manner. Other duties were periodically

assisting customers in arranging birthday parties for children, helping them with their

party options and hosting birthday parties.

June 2006 - December 2006

Beyond Beauty Salon Miami, Fl.

I worked for this beauty salon as a customer service representative/receptionist and

cashier. My duties included answering clientele phone calls and using a telephone system

to make future appointments. I was required to accurately make appointments or changes

in order to satisfy every clients needs. I also was responsible for money and credit card

transactions, salon products and miscellaneous sales, as well as inventory.

January 2007 – June 2008

I had the great opportunity to work as a temporary instructor for the Miami-Dade Public

Schools System and learned a lot from this experience. I enjoyed working as a teacher

because it allowed me to expand my knowledge of children and education.

July 2007 – July 2008

Bath & Body Works Outlet, Limited Brands Co.

Miami, Fl.

I worked at this location as a customer service representative/sales associate and cashier

for a year and enjoyed it very much. My duties were to greet and assist customers with

their purchases with a sales driven attitude in an efficient manner. This position helped

me learn much more customer service techniques such as how to be more flexible in the

fast paced world of retail, to be more effective in sales and most importantly to know how

to efficiently uncover customers’ needs in order to ensure a pleasant experience as well as

their loyalty as a customer in the future.

September 2008 – August 2009

Florida Default Law Group Miami, Fl.

I worked at this law firm as a Global Print Queue Specialist for almost a year. My duties

included printing and collating several types of packages. I printed and collated sale

packages, which are intended for homes in the foreclosure process as well as handle

checks that were required for these packages. I also printed and collated numerous types

of packages for two attorneys’ that were very time sensitive and required attention to

detail.

February 2010 - September 2010

Sea World Orlando/Orlando, Fl.

I worked at the Sea World Orlando location as a part time Photo Sales Clerk and cashier

for the Photo Merchandise Department. My duties were to greet guests in a friendly,

timely and efficient manner in order to help them with their purchase options as well as

perform money and credit card transactions. I interacted on a daily basis with people

from all over the world and enjoyed meeting new people and learning about their culture

and backgrounds.

April 2010 - October 2010

Walt Disney World All Star Resorts Orlando, Fl.

I worked for Walt Disney World at all three All-Star Resorts: (Sports All-Star Resort,

Music All-Star Resort and Movies All-Star Resort) as a cast member for the Merchandise

Department. My duties included greeting guests in a friendly, warm, timely and efficient

manner in order to make their stay as pleasant and as magical possible. I was responsible

for performing money and credit card transactions with a professional and proficient

approach to ensure that the guest was satisfied with not only their purchase but overall

experience. Working for Walt Disney World taught me the imperative fact that a guest or

customer’s experience is what makes the difference and what brings them back each time

and that customer service and reputation is vital to the success of a company and is what

sets apart world renowned service from the rest.
