Participated in a 4 year Food occupations and catering course in which we cooked for

fun, planned and catered events; Including parties, school events, meetings, and the

occasional wedding. We prepared food, cooked food, set up scenery and

garnishments, served our customers, following the events or class we did clean up.

Learned food and cooking basics. Seasonally we would hold sales. I have been aiming

for a career involving animals for some time and am trying to get out of the food

industry and move on to a career that I will love. I have done some volunteer work at

Norfolk Animal Care center. I would like to go to school for herpetology and possibly

begin working in the field now. I love all animals, so any kind of work be it animal

control, working at a shelter, or being a pet nurse would put me in my element and on

the right career path.
