WORK HISTORY:

3/08 - 4/10 Yoh Sr. Recruiter

I was recruited to join the Westminster branch of Yoh. In this role I

have posted job ads, sourced, interviewed, reference checked, coached

candidates, performed salary negotiations and all new hire paperwork.

I have provided IT expertise for another recruiter who had a financial

recruiting background. Consistently met or exceeded company production

metrics. Positions recruited for include developers (.Net, Oracle,

Java), QA (automated and manual), QA Manager, Desktop Support,

Business Analyst, Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical

Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, Water Plant Operator and many others.

8/06 - 3/08 Corestaff Services, Inc. Contract Recruiter/Sr.

Technical Manager

Initial one month contract, that went well beyond the initial

agreement, enabled me to start up an IT recruiting practice in support

of Corestaff's major client, Great-West Life. For a two week period

Corestaff contracted me to Great-West to cover for their IT recruiter

who was on vacation. Since Corestaff was primarily a Clerical/Light

Industrial staffing company they relied on my business and recruiting

knowledge to help them come up to speed in the IT arena. I filled 4

contract positions my first month and over 12 perm positions in my two

week contract at Great-West Life.

In Nov. 2006 became an employee and was given the title of

Sr.Technical Manager. In this role I was performing full cycle full

desk recruiting including sales and recruiting functions. Positions

filed varied from Oracle DBA, Telecom tech, Desktop support, Java

developer, Project Manager, Tech Writer, Sys Admin, Oracle Developers

and others in Contract and Contract to Hire and Direct Placement

scenarios. This role supports the entire Colorado region for IT

requirements.

3/06 - 4/06 Newmerix Corp. Contract Recruiter

This was initially scheduled to be a short term contract. Performed

full cycle of recruiting duties: meeting with managers to determine

requirements, job posting, sourcing, phone screening, interview

scheduling, reference checking, presentation to hiring manager,

updating Applicant Tracking system. I recruited for Product Manager,

Professional Services Consultant (PeopleSoft) and several other IT

positions. Recruitforce Applicant Tracking System was utilized.

5/04 - 12/05 Momentum Resourcing IT Recruiter/Account Manager

Recruited for a variety of positions and skills including .Net and

Java developers, .Net architect, bi-lingual help desk, mainframe

developers, SAP ABAP developer, AS/400 developer and many others.

Responsibilities include clarifying job requirements, sourcing

candidates from Monster, Dice, networking and user group boards,

calling and emailing potential candidates, phone screening, face to

face interviewing, reference checking, presentation, interview

scheduling, interview follow-up and final offer salary negotiation.

7/03 - 5/04 Interactive Business Systems Account Manager

Complete placement cycle involvement. The emphasis was on relationship

building and recruiting and placement for both project and staff

augmentation engagements. Performed recruiter functions including

sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, rate negotiation and

resume reformatting. Recruited to go to Momentum Resourcing.

8/02 - 12/02 State of the Art Recruiting IT Talent

Scout

This is a "run your own desk" situation with responsibility for all

activities from beginning of the cycle to the final placement. I was

responsible for interfacing with client managers to understand their

needs. Once a full understanding of their requirement was in place I

was able to source candidates from internet job sites, current

databases and networking to identify potential candidates. Potential

candidates were then phone screened and interviewed in person.

After face to face interviews, references were checked and then

if approved, resumes were submitted to the hiring manager. I

scheduled interviews with the hiring manager and followed-up with the

manager after the interview to ascertain suitability of the candidate

presented. When an offer was ready to be made, presented the offer to

the candidate and negotiated hire salary with the candidate. The

entire process was documented using WinSearch recruiting software.

This was a 3 month contract position.

2/93 - 6/02 Consultants In Software Recruiter/Account Manager

Placed both IT and financial staff with approximately 35 client

companies including Sun, Great-West Life, MCI, Storage Tek and Access

Graphics. Developed relationship with hiring managers enabling me to

better understand their hiring needs and present candidates that more

closely matched their needs. Once the requirement for a new position

was obtained, worked on matching the skills to the available

candidates. Potential candidates were sourced from internet job

boards, databases, cold calling and referrals. Potential candidates

were phone- screened and interviewed face to face.

After face to face interviewing and reference checking resumes

were submitted to the hiring manager. I scheduled interviews with the

hiring manager and followed-up with the manager after the interview to

ascertain suitability of the candidate presented. When an offer was

ready to be made, presented the offer to the candidate and negotiated

hire salary with the candidate and client. The entire process was

documented using Act!

Established contracts with and penetrated Storage Tek,

Sun, Great-West Life, First Trust, Adams 12 Schools, Arrow

Electronics, Quovadx and many others. Provided management vision to

implement the mission statement: "Placing quality people with

companies where quality matters". Managed all personnel on assignment

at client sites to maximize retention of billable staff, while working

with client schedules and budgets. Dealt with all follow-up client

issues and worked to build long term client relationships, while

addressing CIS' profit requirements. Laid off due to company financial

difficulty. CIS subsequently closed due to market.

4/88 - 1/93 Ajilon Recruiter/Acct Mgr

As a technical recruiter for the Denver office was responsible

for all candidate sourcing including advertising, cold calling,

interviewing, resume writing and reference checking. When presented

with new requirements I was responsible for matching candidate skills

to the client's requirements to determine suitability. All suitable

candidates were then phone screened. Once beyond the phone- screening

phase candidates were scheduled for a face to face interview with me.

After the face to face interview references were checked. After the

reference checks were complete the resume was presented to the hiring

manager. At the hiring manager's request interviews were scheduled. I

followed-up with the manager after the interview to ascertain

suitability of the candidate presented. When an offer was ready to be

made, presented the offer to the candidate and negotiated hire salary

with the candidate.

I eventually became senior recruiter and hired another recruiter

to work with me. Handled all staff management responsibilities

including follow-ups and reviews. While recruiting, Denver office

billable staff grew from 9 to 47.

As account manager was responsible for growth of existing

clients, such as MCI and Great-West Life, as well as adding new

clients, including IBM and Ohmeda. Gave a company sales presentation

to IBM purchasing agents that was attended by company vice president.

Responsibilities included, identifying potential new clients, cold

calling, presentation, contract negotiation, and management of all

billable staff on assignment at client sites. Responsible for final

approval of all candidates presented to clients, as well as all client

follow-up, including firing of unsatisfactorily performing staff.

Consistently exceeded annual quotas and exceeded profitability goals

in this position. Was involved in annual goal setting and forecasting

for sales. Recruited to go to Consultants In Software.
