Led antenna software (embedded) engineering, advanced technologies (IT),
and sourcing for automotive antenna manufacturer; and co-led the
operations management for President and CEO to move coaxial cable
assembly to low cost manufacturing location. Managed P&L budget of $78M.
Advanced Technology - Led and Directed changes in IT systems and launched
web based business portal for B2B and B2C interactions. Authored
structure for certification on QS/TS16949. Operations Management and
Strategic Sourcing -Directed move of coaxial cable assembly operations to
low cost country (52 program lines, 3 OEM's), establishing lean
methodology (using off the shelf Oracle ERP versus homegrown
technologies) at the new site, and re-directing sourcing towards a global
supply base. Information Systems Implementation-Streamlined EDI, and MP&L
systems within new manufacturing and warehousing locations to align with
automotive OEM business systems to incorporate NAFTA laws across Mexican-
USA border (distribution and warehouse in San Diego). Financial Crisis
due to lack of bank assisted funding within our company motivated change

cross-functional teamwork, organizing databases to capture all aspects of
HVAC and engine cooling product costs. Utilized Linear price performance
regression, 5-S, Waste elimination, lean principles, Throughput increase,
Scrap (PPM) reduction, cost driver analysis and efficiency gain for
Plastic Injection Molding (fan shrouds, Housings, Blowers), tubular
products, Kinematics and machined Aluminum parts, generating cost
reductions worth $32.54 Million, Installed and instituted these
efficiencies within six months. Managed all reporting, releases, Failure
Mode Analysis, 8D, Engineering and Product Changes, led PPAP and APQP
related to these cost reductions with dedicated team. Left to take on a

factories). P&L responsibility: Implemented lean IT using integration

level/real-time execution management (present day MES Systems)-for auto
plants for machining, painting, finishing and assembly. - Record 14
