I am a goal-oriented individual, with the determination and drive to

accomplish my goals. As an example, at the end of my junior year I was

selected to pick a team of my peers to come up with an advertising campaign

for Disney. We had to come up with an original idea to bring in a new

demographic during the low months at the park. Our original idea coupled

with a fantastic advertising spread won us the competition. It was an

amazing experience for me to work on a team of great individuals who were

at the top of their game. Through all of the struggles of pulling a

campaign together I learned how to be a leader and found it to be a

character-building experience which will make me a great addition to your

company.

I am different than most of the applicants you are going to be receiving

for this program. I was born on a small farm and raised in a small town of

35 thousand. I went to university to study business and interior design and

fell in love instead with marketing and intenational management. I studied

in 25 countries during my undergraduate opening up my mind to new an

different cultures and learning not only what makes us different but also

what can bring us together.

Being highly motivated, I am very capable of excelling at what I pursue. In

early 2006 I spent a semester at sea. Through that experience I was able to

study the history, contemporary issues and culture throughout ten

countries. Overcoming the language barrier, intense academics of the

program and vast cultural differences. While participating in Semester at

Sea, I was actively involved in a club which successfully solicited

donations from many corporations. These donations were used fund charitable

projects that we students created, planned and saw to fruition. As a group,

we raised over $25,000 for practical and worthy causes such as Save the

Children and the Mother Theresa Orphanage in India where many students were

able to volunteer. I also oversaw the ability for future SAS voyagers to

have their friends and family members donate from their homes back in the

states. This process will open up the donations for unlimited donations

which will greatly increase the affect of our causes. I also participated

in International Business Institute where we traveled around Europe meeting

with CEO's and VP's of international companies while learning about global

business issues these companies are facing. My final semester of college I

spent participated in an internship program through Boston University in

London. While studying in London, England, I completed on internship with

Lady Elizabeth Anson's Party Planners company. While interning at Party

Planners, I organized and identified VIP's for a wedding of Indian royalty,

aided in bidding on prospective events, helped to create plans for new

clientele and prepared gifts for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II. I

was able to gain valuable experience through the fast paced environment

and working in all aspects of the company. From daily lunch runs to

scouting venues to planning out seating charts and ordering the catering I

covered every aspect of the event industry. My highly motivated nature

provides me with the necessary determination and enthusiasm to do extremely

well in whatever situation I may find myself in.

I have been involved in many different activities throughout my college and

professional career. The responsibilities of the leadership positions I

have held in these organizations have sharpened my natural abilities to

multi-task and handle large workloads. Through my extensive travel on five

continents and to twenty five countries in the last three years I have

gained first hand experience in the international marketplace. It has also

allotted me an increased flexibility and expanded my creativity along with

allowing me to interact and live with different international demographics.

I am a team player, enjoy working with others, and have earned a reputation

of trustworthiness and dependability with my employers, professors,

coaches, advisers and peers. However, I can also work well on my own as I

am a self-starter capable of initiating productive and useful contributions

to the office and of supervising myself. I am a dedicated individual who is

motivated and ready to learn. I possess the enthusiasm, creativity,

flexibility and experience to be an asset to your company.
