. Office Superintendent in Command ASW Office of Headquarters, Western

Naval Command, Mumbai from 1999 to 2001, where single handedly managed

all activities of the prime operational office for three years. The

Navy categorically deputed me to that post due to my excellent track

record. A big part of the job was man management. I was solely

responsible to get the assigned job done by these people and was

answerable to the Command Operations Officer. Leave planning of staff,

scheduling of the shift timings for security duties, transport

arrangements, supervising of gardening of the office complex garden

and normal/special repairs of the building, conduct of various inter-

services meetings, supervising of weekly presentation/brief to the

Chief of the Staff, handling and replying of all SECRET/CONFIDENTIAL

mails and signals of the whole command, liaisoning with civil

authorities etc. were the part of my responsibilities. In recognition

of my work, I have been commended by the Flag Officer Commanding-in-

Chief, Western Naval Command in Dec 2000. The best and most fruitful

tenure of my Naval Career.

. Naval Recruiting Supervisor in Naval Recruitment Establishment,

Kolkata from Apr 2004 to Dec 2005. Worked as Second-in-Command of a

group of 25-30 peoples and was solely responsible for handling such an

organisation, which is very sensitive in nature. Have conducted

Recruitment Examinations of 6000-7000 people at a stretch for a period

of 07 days. The office was responsible for recruiting raw recruits

from West Bengal, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand and other

North-East States of India. Job of the office comprising scrutiny and

validation of application forms, preparing and forwarding of interview

call letters, conduct of written examination, physical fitness test

and medical examination, preparation of merit list and dispatch of

recruits to training center. Despite these, routine administration and

secretarial jobs are also being handled in a time bound fixture.

. Inspection Supervisor of Fleet ASW Office on deputation from 1998 to

1999. I have been specially called from a Fleet Ship (INS Ganga) on

temporary duty to assist the Fleet ASW Officer to conduct Annual

Inspection, Sea Safety Checks and Operational Readiness Inspection of

all naval warships of Western Fleet in a very quick succession.

Excelled in all the fields and commended by the Flag Officer

Commanding.

Experience in Public Relation Ground

I have the exposure in the field of Public Relation also. I have been

posted by the Navy as Railway Reservation Supervisor (Military Quota) in

Movement Control Office of Howrah Railway Station from Apr 2003 to Mar

2004. An assignment which needs a very demanding Public Relation. The job

profile was handling the mistakes made by the reservation counter staff,

supervising of making and dispatch of charts, liaison with high profile

railway officials to get extra coaches for the defence commuters as and

when required and taking care of other regular office correspondences.

Handled all administrative and operational jobs related to Indian Navy

single handedly being the only naval personnel posted in that Detachment.

International Exposure

. Visited Muscat and Iran in 1998 during Welfare Visit of INS Ganga.

. Visited Somalia and Kenya during Operations in 1992, sailed onboard

INS Godavari.
