Supervised spiritual care program and personnel through training,
management, oversight and direction. Provided supervision and oversight of
hospice spiritual care and bereavement programs for patient and families
located in various settings: 30-40 private homes; 4 area hospitals; and 5
nursing homes. Provided management of one staff chaplain, two community
clergy volunteers; and two bereavement volunteers in the provision of these
services.
Designed and conducted memorial services and activities relating to
spiritual and religious issues of client, family and interdisciplinary
team. Provided counseling, support, and empathic spiritual care for
clients and families coping with terminal illness and death. Developed,
