EXPERIENCE
2008 Digital Catalog Project for Estes Park Museum, Estes Park, Colorado
Arranged 2,000 scanned postcard images into a visual catalog for patrons, thereby enabling
patron access to the collection while preserving the original postcards. The result was increased
patron awareness and use of the collection.
Mitigation Workshop in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Collaborated on mitigation presentation for community leaders and business owners by teaching
principles of identifying and preserving vital records.
2009 Digital Index Project of Emergency Operations Plan, Johnson County, Missouri
Created hyperlinks and digital index for the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) which allowed
quick access to vital terms, facilities, and entities in time of emergency, planning and exercises.
Literacy Program Grant Proposal Trip to Paraguay and exercise in grant writing including
needs analysis, logic modeling and program design. Website developed to promote awareness of
Paraguay’s information infrastructure and needs of indigenous population.

2010 Volunteer for SMSD 512 School District Media Center Assisted in processing of new books
for Elementary, Middle and High Schools, including inspection of new books, reconciling
packing lists and purchase orders, spine tags, book jackets, and basic cataloging. Observed
Elementary school committee meeting regarding state assessment and standards for information
literacy.
