I perform QC inspections of concrete placement in pavements and heavy-duty

concrete slabs in the Combat Aviation Brigade Airfield (120,000 cubic yards

+ ), ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards,

codes, specifications and design instructions, verify that all forms,

reinforcement of slabs and rebar including dowels are placed in accordance

with specifications. I supervise the placing, consolidation and finishing

of mixed concrete to ensure that all voids are eliminated through a

vibratory process, good straight edge and application of curing compound. I

verify that the expansion and construction joints are placed at proper

intervals for a good quality structure. I supervise, review and make a

report of the straight edge results after 48 hrs of placement of concrete.

. Fleet: In-charge of reviewing key performance indicators, which

consisted of: monthly revenue, monthly distribution trips by Cemex

owned trucks, costumer pick up, contracted haulers, monthly vehicle

trips by unit type, cost to move material by ton and unit type, fuel

reviewed payment requests from contract haulers, prepared and

. Cement and Fly Ash Fleet: Placed fly ash requests based on railroad

cars capacity (100 tons per railroad car). Prepared monthly reports

that inventoried fly ash, cement, and railroad cars. Coordinated

delivery of fly ash and cement from receiving yard to company batch

plants. Monitored monthly bulker's trips, gas efficiency, vehicle

maintenance, fuel consumption & tire wear.

. Dispatch and Costumer Service: Monitored daily trip schedules,

assessed vehicle trips by unit type, conducted daily meetings intended

. Designed concrete aluminum mixture used to construct 4 ft x 8 ft

cellular concrete panels.

. Implemented pilot program that utilized concrete panels to construct a

540 sq. ft. house. Light weight panels provided excellent thermal

efficiencies due to ability to expand during curing process. Pilot

program was supported and implemented in several subdivisions by

Instituto Mexicano del Cemento y del Concreto (IMCYC) (Mexican

Institute of Cement and Concrete), Instituto FONA Vivienda del

Trabajador (INFONAVIT), Pulte Internacional (a renowned international

home builder) and GCC.

. City of Juarez, Chihuahua Street Rehabilitation Project: Provided

technical professional support to City of Juarez's Chihuahua, Mexico

Street paving rehabilitation project. Project consisted of

implementing Portland Cement Concrete to replace aging asphaltic

paving throughout the City.

. Bismarck Mines Project: Designed cement mixture that was utilized in

sealing cracks within the mine shafts. Cement mixture was a slurry

type fill that sealed cracks with minimal exterior leakage.

Precaution was taken to prevent curing of the slurry within the

equipment. Coordinated placement of rapid curing concrete within

mine's floors.

. City of Juarez International Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project:

Recommended to general contractor methods and practices in placing a

very rapid curing concrete (30 minutes). Demonstrated to concrete

laborers methods for spreading and vibrating cement. Work was

conducted during night shift as airport has only 1 operating runway.

Assigned to Rio Grande Materials Monolite Division. Responsible for

product promotion. Conducted take offs for various projects in which

monolite panels would be utilized in lieu of normal CMU walls. Conducted

structural analysis calculations to determine monolite panels size and type

based on resistive capacities.
