Full-time Warehouseman 3/8/2010-present
Mover and Warehouseman Duties: Upon receipt of a customer's product, I
unload, inventory and move the product to an open storage area. When
product is to be delivered, I load the truck and ensure that all the
necessary equipment to perform the delivery is loaded on the truck.
During the work day, when necessary to pull or put away product, I operate
on the scissors fork lift. I perform all duties assigned to me by the
Warehouse Manager.
Part-time Supervisor Duties: I supervised a crew of 2-3 people from 4pm
until closing. I was responsible for monitoring the crew to ensure that
the trucks were loaded properly and that all equipment needed for delivery
was also loaded on the trucks.
Achievement/Accomplishment: Certified to drive the sit down forklift and
the stand up order picker. Mastered two types of inventory systems; the
WMS and the AS400.
Ourisman Dodge: Parts Driver, 11/21/2004-12/24/2004
Duties: I made automobile parts deliveries from Ourisman Dodge to Dodge,
other car dealerships and service stations throughout Maryland and
Virginia. I also made purchases and picked up parts from other parts stores
by taking Ourisman Dodge's check to purchase the parts. If deliveries and
pick-ups were slow, I assisted in the daily cleaning of the Parts
Department which helped maintain a clean and professional working
environment.
U.S. Airways Express: Customer Service Agent, 7/26/04-11/8/04
Duties: I worked in the baggage room tagging passenger's luggage with the
proper airport destination code which required memorizing over 200 airport
codes. I also loaded and drove the baggage cart out of the terminal to the
aircraft and loaded luggage from the baggage cart to the aircraft. Upon
arrivals and before departures, I cleaned the aircraft, removing trash and
any personal items that were left behind, made security checks for any
suspicious items left unattended and used flashlights to direct pilots when
docking the aircraft.
Achievement/Accomplishment: Letter of commendation.
Reason for leaving: U.S. Airways was going through a reorganization.
Sears Parts & Repair Center: 3/3/03- 7/10/04
Duties: I worked the sales counter, which involved greeting customers,
making sales and scheduling repair deliveries and pick-ups over the
telephone. I substituted for the shipper/receiver when he was on vacation
or away for short periods of time by preparing merchandise for shipping out
for repair work and receiving repaired merchandise into the store. I
maintained inventory records on all merchandise being shipped and received,
helped customers load and unload their merchandise into their cars,
assisted customers in any way they needed, and helped reorganize and paint
the store when Sears decided to sell "scratch and dent" appliances.
Achievement/Accomplishment: Customer Service Award (lapel pin).
Reason for leaving: Needed full-time work.
