R&D Engineering Support as SR. PCB Designer and Mechanical Designer.
My primary function was to work closely with Hardware, Mechanical
& Software Engineers in a team oriented environment using OrCAD
Capture and Layout to define Part Placement and Circuit Layout of
Single and Multi-layered Printed Circuit Boards. I was
responsible for adherence to NEMA standards with respect to High
Voltage spacing requirements to 480V. Using AutoCAD I created 3D
models of the populated PCBs and Precision Sheet metal enclosures
prior to ordering prototypes to ensure a proper form and fit.
From these models I created working drawings for sheet metal
fabrication and PCB part placement accuracy. Other duties included
Schematic Parts and Footprint Library creation and maintenance,
BOM creation and coordination with manufacturing engineering in
the procurement of parts and the creation of Assembly Drawings for
use in manufacturing. I also was responsible for the
implementation of RoHS compliance of materials and processes used
in the production of all current circuit boards.

Electrical Construction including Material take-offs, purchasing
materials and Scheduling job assignments, inspecting jobs in
progress and coordinating with owners, engineers and other trades
to insure code compliance and adherence to specifications and
completion schedules. Some of the jobs I supervised were the Mason
County Courthouse, Assessors, Auditors and Treasurers offices,
Sand Point Naval Air Station Administration Bldg Remodel, and U.S.
Navy's Under Sea Lab in Fox Island, WA.
