WORK FEATURED IN:
Commencement Exhibition April/May
2010
Minneapolis College of Art and Design
Piece: Ten Little Chocolate Factories
I conducted ethnographic interviews with chocolate makers from around the
world and collected my findings in a book. I also created an interactive
experience called the "chocolate confessional," which contained a candy jar
full of individually wrapped chocolates with questions inside the wrappers.
Passers-by were encouraged to answer these questions, which pertained to
their personal emotional connections to chocolate, in the form of a video
on the adjacent computer. Viewers were able to watch responses from others.
Over 200 videos were collected.
Visualizing the Future April/May

Science Museum of Minnesota
Piece: "Personal Geographies"
A celebration of the innovators of tomorrow, a visual exploration of the
idea of "the future." A juried show featuring a dozen students'
interpretations. My piece was a triptych of physically interactive images
constructed with multiple layers of transparency film. Pertaining to my own
personal geographies, these pieces consisted of images of online maps
overlayed with photos of myself in the corresponding locations.
