To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Toby Askins. I am an Ohio University graduate of the College of Arts and
Sciences. I graduated in the spring quarter 2007 and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in
Environmental Geography.
I am currently employed by Woolpert Inc. in Dayton, Ohio. I have been employed since
October 2008, with the formal title as Geospatial Analyst II. I am an integral member of the
Geospatial Intelligence group, which requires an active Secret Clearance. During my tenure, I
have worked on numerous projects, including city graphics, 2D, 3D, 50K, 100K and UFD. Each
project has specific guidelines and specifications which requires acute attention to detail. I have
achieved every goal established and excelled at every challenge given.
Prior to this position, I was employed by Adecco Technical. Through this contract
position, I reported directly for MJ Harden in Mission, Kansas, where I performed similar duties
and held the title of GIS Analyst/Quality Control Analyst I.
I have excelled not only above and beyond Woolpert’s expectations, but also my personal
goals for the position. I have received “consistently meets expectations, and consistently
exceeds expectations” regarding every aspect of the position during performance reviews. Every
project/assignment handled in the position has been handled in a manner to be under-budget and
ahead of schedule, while providing the client with the highest quality product possible.
I have many characteristics and skills that make me a perfect suit for the Geospatial
Analyst position. I am charismatic, intelligent, well-spoken, friendly, and out-going in a team
environment. I am diligent, self-driven, and motivated. I possess superior depth perception for
3D tasks. I grasp new concepts and methods rapidly with the end result being the driving force
behind said motivation. I am punctual and responsible which has been proven in previous
employment and can be verified through references. I have over three (3) years industry
experience and excel on 3D products.
Included in this document is a copy of my resume. When necessary, references will be
provided. I thank you for your courtesy and time, and look forward to meeting and speaking
with you.
Sincerely,
Toby Lynn Askins
