Tinter (1989 - Present)
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately into batches. Match customer
color submissions in lab. Perform other quality control tests: Viscosity,
weight per gallon, crypt, pencil hardness, gloss, T-Bends, reverse impact,
MEK Rubs, color measurement, dry film thickness and other test depending on
product line.
. Accumulate hazardous waste in accordance with ADEM/USEPA regulations
as defined in Standard Operating Procedures.

Production (1985 - 1988)

batch-making operation; weighed ingredients into batches accurately,
following instruction on batch cards. Performed required batch
testing for QA approval and sign-off to proceed.

Milling (1983 - 1985)
. Produced grind customer batches and internally used intermediate bases
for milling per batch ticket instructions.
. Performed set up and put batches on the designated mill to obtain
specified grind and color strength per technical standard.
. Monitored milling process for duration of batch run time on the mill.
Recorded physical properties such as product flow rate through the
mill, product temperature and fineness of grind per batch control
plan.
. Made adjustments per QA instructions to bases and removed products
from mills once approved. Mills, pumps and hoses were then cleaned per
procedural instructions
. Performed routine maintenance on mills such as media checks, media
changes and screen cleaning. Checked internal discs for wear and
replacement if needed.
. Returned mills to service after maintenance repairs or monthly
preventive maintenance was performed by cleaning the mill and
obtaining an approved crater check from QA.
