Internet Based Open Source Collection

Using your extensive knowledge of the Arabic language, culture

and methods, conduct open source collection and

reporting of information from websites considered hostile to

the United States and the U.S. military. The primary focus is

the websites that present information related to the CENTCOM

area of responsibility. Duties include the translation,

reporting and logging of collected information. All collected

information will be presented in approved reporting formats,

checked for accuracy, verified as new reporting and passed to

the next higher echelon for review and publication. Work

closely with both military and civilian intelligence

professionals on a daily basis to educate them on current

threats, hostile activities and the Arabic and Islamic cultures

Daily Duties includes:

. Complete a review of over 1,000 identified target

items, and conduct daily assessment of those

determined to be of significant value.

. Drafts multiple information reports detailing

findings.

. Reporting received the highest level evaluation by

the intelligence community.

. Accomplishes extensive and detailed translations of

time-sensitive data in a very timely and efficient
