Objective
Through challenging leadership positions, I have developed a strong sense

background in criminal justice and leadership I am positive that I will

Summary of Qualifications
I am an accomplished Supervisor in both the Corrections and Surveillance
fields. Safety is one of the top priorities for both of these professions.
I have experience with not only investigating and recovering evidence, but
also putting the evidence to use. I have an Associate Degree in Criminal
Justice.
Work Experience
Surveillance Supervisor (1/2005 - 8/2010)
Prairie Band Casino and Resort, Mayetta, KS
Oversees the activities of surveillance staff on shift. This includes but
is not limited to identifying and recording questionable activity for
review and possible use as evidence.
Performs the duties of a Surveillance Officer as necessary.
Oversees the performance and training of surveillance staff on shift.
Issues manager-approved corrective communications.
Disseminates information regarding procedural policy and changes.
Prepares daily logs of all pertinent activity and reviews Officer's logs.
Saves and keeps a record of video/audio information for possible future
use. Creates and maintains files of surveillance activities and data.
Ensures proper staffing at all times.
Monitors the facility entrances, validation cashier's cage, money vaults,
concessions areas, mutual teller areas, all money handling activities,
and count rooms. Observes the conduct of the employees and customers.
Reports suspicious activity when observed.
Ensures the proper functioning of equipment.
Maintains familiarity with all Kansas laws and regulations, company
policies and procedures and strictly adheres to them.
Responsible for department payroll; monitors employee attendance, PTO and

Surveillance Officer (6/2004 - 1/2005)

Performs specific surveillance duties in accordance with established
procedures, to protect the integrity of Prairie Band Casino operations,
as well as the security and well-being of customers, employees, and
company assets.
Operates all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, VCRS,
monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras as assigned.
Observes, reports and records all daily casino and other activity using
closed circuit television monitors.
Works in partnership with the Security Department to ensure protection of
customers, employees, and company funds and assets.
Prepares reports as required and directed by Surveillance management.
