Fire Sprinkler Design

Designed dry, wet, antifreeze fire protection systems for

commercial/residential buildings in accordance with NFPA 13 regulations

that came in on-or-under design budget.

. Introduced and ushered design submittals through the local and/or state

fire marshals approval process to acceptance.

. Fabricated each project I designed and worked closely with installation

crews in the construction, ultimately leading to occupancy approval.

CAD Drafting

. Assisted engineering department in its' format transition from hand drawn

to digitally drawn repository of engineering drawings and other

sales/marketing data for the entire product lines through reverse

engineering in excess of 140 models/parts.

. Supported two product engineers, the department manager and the

sales/marketing departments by:

-- Creating and revising new assembly drawings with BOMs, quality

control inspection specifications, source control drawings and

detailed engineering drawings for all products.

-- Assisted project engineer in launching of new product line

launching through drawing revisions and updates.

Graphics/Desktop Publishing

. Through extensive coordination with manufacturing, engineering, marketing

and sales, and an outside printing vendor, created 50+ page spec sheet

printed catalog.

. Proposed/created for management a mini-CD product catalog for trade show

distribution utilizing in-house Adobe Acrobat software instead of outside

multimedia consultant thereby saving thousands of dollars in outside

consulting fees.

. Spearheaded computer graphics support for company intranet web pages,

brochures, presentations, proposals, valuation reports, real estate

newsletter, pie line and bar charts, flow charts and site analysis maps.

Project Coordination

. Coordinated completion of artwork and illustrations from rough draft to

final art for presentations, reports and proposals for aerospace

marketing and engineering related projects.

. Through initiative and communication with management, proposed and

implemented unused machine format capabilities in the preparation of

technical publications reducing documentation preparation turnaround

time. Received two company performance improvement awards.
