Directly responsible for a large variety of Human Resources tasks including

recruitment, employee relations, payroll and salary maintenance, FMLA,

workers' compensation, orientation, HRIS system maintenance and overseeing

the annual performance review process. Act as point of contact for all

employee questions, as well as compliance concerns. Ensures company is

operating within employment standards set at state and federal levels.

. Lead the Safety Committee, Workplace and Cultural Diversity Committee

and organize United Way events for the company.

. Assume the role of Human Resources Director approximately one week a

month and take on additional responsibilities as they arise.

Human Resources Coordinator August 2005 to March 2007

VeraSun Energy Corporation, Brookings, SD

Perform various Human Resources tasks with continually increasing

responsibility. Maintain all HRIS systems, oversee the implementation of

the new payroll system, create offer letters and company forms, conduct the

employee survey and provide reporting to various agencies. Responsible for

all steps of the hiring process and provide training and assistance for

employees.

. Coordinated the entire human resource functions for two new plant

locations in Fort Dodge and Charles City, Iowa. Successfully staffed
