Human Resources Manager - September 1996 - November 1, 2008
Lead day-to-day HR management efforts for this commercial property
management company with over 160 employees nationwide. Supervise a staff
of two with staffing, training and performance evaluation responsibilities.
Lead and direct Human Resources department operational efforts involving:
recruitment and employment, EEO compliance, employee relations,
conflict/dispute resolution and benefits and compensation. Instrumental in
streamlining the entire HR department introducing new processes, procedures
and controls. Turned around and recreated HR department image bringing
integrity to the department through the introduction of innovative and
efficient processes. Reduced turnover by introducing employee testing
system, stronger interview processes and programs to improve employee
morale and retention. Responsible for handling all termination and
disciplinary processes. Led efforts in making Human Resources department
