To obtain a position with a contract company to perform shutdown/outage

work on a short or long term basis.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

I have a total of six years experience in the maintenance field. I have

•

performed maintenance on various types of equipment to include conveyors

(screw, belt and chain), compressors, pneumatics, rock breakers and crushers,

skips and cages, loading pockets, turbines and hydro electric equipment. I

can also weld (MIG/Stick), use a torch and cut, fit, thread and weld pipe. I

have performed all these duties in the power plant, manufacturing, chemical,

industrial, and food processing industries to include underground. I have

current MSHA Certification (part 46 and 48) for surface and underground

mining in metal and non metal environments. I have current certification

from the ATF to handle and transport explosives.

Maintenance Mechanic

Duties included maintenance and replacement of conveyors, motors, pumps,

compressors as well as installing new electrical to include running conduit and

installing boxes, cutting and fitting pipe and welding when necessary.

Pipe Fitter/Welder

Duties included measuring, cutting, threading and welding pipe for new

construction of water line at a coal mine in Roundup, MT

Brahma Group, Inc March 09 May09 Elko, NV

Millwright

Duties included replacement of screw conveyors and quench tanks at Mill #7 at

Barrick Goldstrike Mine in Elko, NV. Used millwright tools as well as torch and

welder.

Underground Fixed Maintenance

Duties included preventative and emergency maintenance on underground mining

equipment (conveyors, rock breakers and crushers, loading pockets, skips, cages,

compressors and 480V power sources). Also did fabrication using torches, welders

and various other power tools.

HCS September 07 Jan 08 Carlsbad, NM

Millwright

Duties included demolition and reconstruction of Mosaic Potash Mine located in

Carlsbad, NM. Removed and fabricated handrails, stairways and walkways that had

been eroded by the salt in the mine. Used torches, portabands, welders, general

tools of the trade for millwright work.

Wesco Environmental, Inc May 07 September 07 Elko, NV

Millwright

Duties included shutdown maintenance on Mill #4 at Newmont Gold Mine in Elk,

NV. Used torch and welding machine to remove and replace springs and wires in

the precipitator. Changed the liner in the precipitator by removing the liner with the

use of torch and arc gouger. Replaced old liner with new liner by welding in place.

AVC Specialists January 06 May 07 Freeport, TX

Millwright

Duties included complete tear out and replacement of both precipitators at Gulf

Chemical and Metallurgical located in Freeport, TX. Changed all wires and liners

in precipitator to include housing and insulation on both sides of the plant. Installed

new weights, heat exchangers and expansion joints. Installed new fans (intake as

well as exhaust).

U.S. Army May 88 May05 Ft Huachuca, AZ

Engineer/Communications/Personnel

Duties included construction and demolition of bridges, roads, air strips and mine

fields. Performed duties as communications NCO at the Microwave

Communications Course at Ft Gordon, GA. Also served as PSB NCOIC at Camp

Casey, Korea and Ft Campbell, KY. In addition I have served in the Gulf War (1

tour) and have been deployed to Iraq twice, once during Operation Enduring

Freedom with the Med Evac Unit from Fort Campbell, KY and the second tour

during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1st BDE 2/320th FA BN out of Fort

Campbell, KY. I am Air Assault qualified as well Pathfinder and Combat Lifesaver.

I have received AARCOM’s, AAM’s and a Bronze Star for my services in Iraq,

Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
