I am a Junior at Armstrong Atlantic State & University majoring in Biology

with a goal of becoming a DVM. As part of this goal I require hands on

experience in a Veterinarian's office.

I am seeking employment in this field and feel that my education and

experience qualifies me to accomplish this. In addition to my work and

education qualifications, I also have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 1 cockatoo that

live in my home and require my care. I have also had ferrets, rats, mice,

hamsters, an iguana, a turtle, parakeets, and cockatiels. I have fostered

many cats and dogs; I have also nursed wild birds and others animals back

to health. I have an unconditional passion for animals, yet I understand

that "loving animals" alone does not qualify me for this position. I know

that hard work, long hours, bodily fluids, stubborn and aggressive animals

come with this job. I am more than prepared for all aspects of this job.

My Work Experience:

2010-2010 Lifeguard - The Landings, Savannah, GA

Duties include not only life guarding but checking pool,

performing maintenance and serving as the gate attendant.

2008 - 2009 Lifeguard - Johnson Park, Conyers Georgia

I served as Life Guard, did the set up and

break down for swim meets, cleaned pool, checked chemicals

and did office work.

I was the Swim Instructor. A

special duty for me was to serve as the Assistant Coach for

the Special Olympics Team.

2006 - 2008 Lifeguard - Honey Creek Country Club

Pool Guard, Coach for swim team

(teaching stroke techniques) and all pool duties such as

cleaning, checking chemicals, take out trash and set up and

break down for swim meets.

During this time I also gave private lessons to team members that

wanted to improve their strokes.

During my Elementary, Middle, and High School years, I

tutored other students in Algebra, Trigonometry,

Statistics, English, Biology, Writing papers and Research

Papers, Spanish, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power

Point.

I am available for dog & pet sitting and have been employed

to do the same.

I also served as a personal assistant while dog sitting.
