After leaving the Oklahoma trophy ranch I took the skills I leaned and
started Wicks wildlife consulting. We are a small company that does

Ranch manager
As a ranch manager I was responsible for both the biological and
maintenance aspects of the ranch. Responsibilities included food plots,
herd management, guide services, lodge management and all routine
maintenance including mowing, road maintenance, equipment upkeep and other
items as necessary. The species of the ranch include Whitetail deer,
European Red stag, Rio and Eastern Turkey, Feral hogs and various waterfowl
species.
As the on-site manager my activities involved determining the daily needs
of the ranch with regard to both the wildlife conservation and basic ranch
management. Daily activities include feeder location and management,
regular evaluation of the heath and wellness of the herd, fence monitoring,
implementing and monitoring of the game scouting camera system, mowing and
other regular maintenance activities.
Other activities include food plot design, preparation and implementation,
guiding deer, duck and hog hunts for both groups and one on one, land
clearing, managing a 45 acre wetlands plant species, water level, and
beaver population and other habitat conservation practices. Equipment
operation for road maintenance, brush hogging, timber clearing and disc
planting.

Intern biologist
My role as an intern for Weil Ranch included developing a complete

cameras, building and placing waterfowl hunting blinds, as well as planting
food plots such as: Japanese millet for waterfowl and wildlife mix for
whitetail deer.

As the warehouse manager my duties consisted of maintenance of the stock
levels of 8 types of feed, and solely responsible for sacking and stacking

Other Outdoor Experience
I am an avid outdoorsman and have a multitude of experiences. I have
considerable experience hunting for deer, turkey, ducks, doves, hogs, and
other predators. I have also experienced Elk hunting in Colorado as well
as Kudu hunting in South Africa. I have a wide knowledge of rifles, bows,
boats and other outdoor equipment including field cameras and their

Volunteer Experience
In 2001 I volunteered for 2 days consisting of 16 hours at the
Special Olympics in Stillwater, OK. I performed duties such as setting up
events, helping participants to their stations, and overall just helping
where needed.
Throughout my high school career I volunteered at the Stillwater
Humane Society. I performed such duties as: cleaning kennels, walking dogs,
and helping where needed.
I have been involved in 4H and FFA since an early age. My activities
primarily involved showing all breeds of hogs but also included various
volunteer activities, including building projects, youth projects and
various other community services.
I have also been actively involved in community athletics.
Volunteering in activities including coaching, baseball clinics, field
maintenance, and other services where needed.
In 2006 and 2007 I participated in once a year, half day trash pick
up through out the entire town of Durant, OK. This consist of walking town
the streets of Durant and picking up trash for 4 hours.
