As a senior Physical therapist at the 'TwinTime wellness center' in Zagreb,

Croatia, I have thoroughly enjoyed my current role in the past 2 years

which has been both challenging and rewarding. My main duties have been to

oversee much of the day-to-day management of the center and carry out a

multitude of the actual physical therapies.

My role requires me to be flexible, professional and to put the patient at

the forefront of what our wellness center aims to achieve. Many of my

patients have some form of physical injury from Sport, work related stress

or perhaps road traffic accidents. I have used my former experience

extensively and always try to listen to the needs of the patient and our

aim is to get them healthier and mobile again in a structured and

professional manner.

I recently completed my Wellness coordinator Diploma in December 2009 and

now have a further nationally recognised certification, which enables me to

treat a variety of patients with differing needs.

In my spare time I coach Table tennis in various children's school's as I

also love to help young people to stay healthy in both mind and body. I

also love to travel and have been fortunate to visit the UK in the past 12

months as part of the Google foundation, which helps people to find new

direction after times of hardship or injury.

In the future, it is my aim is to be a part of the Rehabilitation team at

the Samaritans hospital in Los Angeles and continue to learn as much as

possible and also to add value with my experience to date.

. Managed Rehabilitation programme for around 30-40 patients

. Initiated a medical gymnastics agenda to enable immobile patients to move

much more freely than before.

. Carried out electro-therapy stimulation, which was proven to aid the

recovery of nerve sensation and muscle rehabilitation.

. Worked as an integral part of the overall nursing team that sought to

motivate the patients into trying new activities and to maintain an

active lifestyle.
