Hired into Goodyear Aerospace as a Junior Draftsman where 8 years were served and the
title of Draftsman was earned. Goodyear Aerospace was bought out by Loral Aircraft
Braking Systems where 10 years of service and the title of Senior Draftsman were
achieved. Loral Aircraft Braking Systems later became Aircraft Braking Systems, where a
continual service of 28.5 years and the titles of Designer/Draftsman and Designer were
achieved. Over the past year and a half Aircraft Braking Systems became Meggitt Aircraft
Braking Systems. Overall responsibilities and duties consisted of creating new models and
drawings of a wide variety of aircraft and helicopter wheels and brake components. Other
responsibilities included bids and proposals to sell our product to new and continual
customers, creating bills of materials, interfacing with customer drawings, creating test
equipment to ensure quality of our product, and modeling and checking of hydraulic
mechanical systems for aircraft and revising models, drawings and specifications.

Hired as a co-op draftsman out of high school and continued on to be hired as a full-time
employee.
Major job responsibilities consisted of creating and revising board drawing of tire
machines, plant layout, conveyor belts, tire tread designs and earth mover equipment.

Graduated in 1978 with a Vocational Diploma as a State Certified Draftsman.
-Equivalent with a 2 year Mechanical Engineering Tech. Degree
Continual education includes various classes on new programs that were offered through
Stark Tech, Kent State, and Akron University in partnership with my employers.
Interests
Interests include writing, poetry, painting, and crafts. Various awards for poetry including
Poet of the Year and nominations for 2002-2008, U.S. Poetry Ambassador for 2006-2007,
numerous publications, and The International Society of Poets Laureate Membership.
