Objective To obtain a position where I can utilize skills from various different job
opportunities, as well as to keep expanding and growing as a person as well as a part of a team
that betters it’s company.
Summary of 09/2010 - 03/2010 Best Image Marketing Inc. Mira Mesa, CA
Qualifications Sales Rep
Ÿ Daily duties were to attend morning meetings where we would be
briefed by the sales manager on what was expected of each rep that
day. Throughout the day we were to make cold calls to prospecting
clients, in pursue of building rapport, which would allow us the
chance of explaining what we do and why we could be so helpful to
their business and its success; therefore ultimately making the sale.
No money was taken or counted but as sales reps we were expected
to take the credit information and to secure the initial investments
09/2007- Present Hollywood Tans Pacific Beach, CA
Ÿ
Salon Director
Daily duties range being when we open and secure the salon, in
order to count in to the cash drawers. Once doors are open tasks
change and range from simply greeting customers, to recommending
a booth and time limit as well as the correct lotion for that persons
skin type. Managerial duties throughout the day would consist of
keeping sales as well as our team moral up so that we would meet
and exceed daily as well as our monthly goals. Weekly bank
deposits, as well as schedules, breaks and goals were all things that
were decided by me while meeting with the owners.
01/2007 - 09/2007 L. Knife and Son Inc. Kingston, MA
Ÿ
CMT Brand Ambassador
My duties as a brand ambassador were to use
my personality, and naturally outgoing demeanor in order to
promote various types of beer and spirits. High energy and an eager
attitude are absolutely necessary in the course of this job due to the
fact that, you as the “promoter” are there to bring the energy and fun
to the table. As part of the CMT ( creative marketing team) we were
to come up with games, give-aways and prizes in order to build
excitement in our product while promoting it so that the guests will
buy, thus making a great profit for our company as a whole.
03/2007 - 09/2007 AZ Studio and Spa Hingham, MA
Ÿ
Stylist Assistant
Duties as an assistant were different from day to
day; however typically I was expected to assist in greeting, draping,
and initially consulting with the client, as well as helping with
anything that the stylist may need throughout the course of that
appointment. (Ex. Getting more foils for a highlight client, or mixing
more color or even new color, applying glazes to the clients hair, and
then finishing clients with a blowout or their preferred style were
things that I would do multiple times a day.)
The general well being and functionality of the
salon often fell on the assistants, as stylists, with clients in the chair,
and the front desk associates with clients at the desk were often
attending to their needs. With that said, laundry, dishes, sweeping,
shampooing etc. were all things that were not out of the ordinary for
daily tasks.
02/2006 -04/2007 Baystate Athletic Club Scituate,MA
Ÿ
Club Coordinator
During the course of the day at this particular
athletic facility I would open and secure the club, and proceed to
counting out the cash drawer while greeting and processing our
members. When new members would come into our facility I would
give them a tour of the grounds and explain any and all questions
that they may have had in regards to the equipment, prices, billing
etc. Throughout the day I would be
expected to be able to “spot” many clients as well as show many
more when, and more importantly how to use our equipment with
proper form, as to ensure that they didn’t injure themselves.
The cleanliness and
well being of the club, of course is and ongoing, moment to moment
endeavor and everyone helped out with that, including myself.
Education 09/2005 - 02/2007 Ailano School of Cosmetology Brockton, MA
MA State Cosmo License/ Hair Skin and Nails
Ÿ Through my courses at Ailano I went through both bookwork, and
written tests, as well as practical and clinical work, where we as
students, got the opportunity to work on people that came into our
class salon.
Not only were we taught to cut and color hair, or paint and
manicure nails, but we were also taught when NOT to work with a
client, and what signs to look for. Being able to spot symptoms of a
skin disorder, or a fungus, or even lice saves both you and the client
a lot of time and stress.
I completed my courses with above average scores and
passed the state board exams with ease in February of 2007.
09/2003- 05/2004 Massasoit Community College Brockton, MA
Ÿ

09/1998-06/2002 Silver Lake Regional High School

and graduated in June of 2002.
