Newspaper, Rockford, MI
Responsible for selling advertising to approximately 200 business
accounts in the greater Rockford area. Working in an extremely fast
paced environment with weekly print deadlines. Responsible for
increasing sales to existing customer base while also prospecting for
new accounts. Other duties include selling advertising promotions,
writing ad copy, taking ad photos and coordinating all aspects of
customer approvals while driving to meet aggressive schedules.
Maintain overall responsibility for customer relationship management.
Meet with Chamber of Commerce members to enhance community involvement
profile for the paper. While in this position, I have a consistent
