industries. As a Black Belt / Lean Leader in the Consumer Products Division
responsibilities include:
. Leading six sigma teams at multiple production facilities in projects
to increase output, improve operational efficiency, minimize
inventories and reduce waste.
. Manage the financial metrics for these projects and provide estimates
to allow validation of the actual savings. Achieved 710,000 USD in
savings for 2009.
. Participate in and lead Kaizen events for activities such as 5S, SMED

Plant Representative
CHEP is a provider of pallet and container pooling services, involved in
the issue, collection, conditioning and reissue of pallets and containers
via a global network. As the Plant Representative for the Houston service
depot responsibilities included:
. Implementation and management of the overall facility process control
plan that included SPC metrics, capturing voice of customer data,
operator certification program, gauge R&R testing and an ongoing 5S
factory program. Results from the implemented plan yielded a 40%
reduction in customer rejections and returns, equating to $120,000 in
annual savings.
. Development of delivery and production schedules, in conjunction with
corporate planning, to ensure a balanced production inventory capable
of meeting ongoing customer orders. Improvements in loading dock
management reduced average trailer load time by 11minutes per unit,
leading to annual savings of $78,000.
. Acting as the primary liaison to the Houston customer base for all
product and service failures, utilizing customer feedback to develop
corrective action plans and ongoing process improvements.

TEU containers. As Quality Assurance Manager for the company
responsibilities included:
. Design, implementation and management of quality assurance processes
for both manufacturing and field related operations on a global basis.
This included implementing lean manufacturing processes, SPC plans,
HACCP programs and managing ISO 9001 registration for internal
production facilities in the USA, South Africa, China & Malaysia.
. Implementation of several six sigma projects, achieving average
annualized savings of $530,000.
. Development and management of ISO and HACCP auditing programs for
manufacturing facilities and 3rd party vendors.
. Supervisory responsibility for Regional Technical Managers within the
Americas operational region.
. Design, management and analysis of all database systems to capture non-
