. My mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2002. Then in 2003 my dad
had heart by-pass surgery replacing five valves. I moved in with my
parents to provide more intensive care for both of them. My dad was
diagnosed with Melanoma cancer in late 2004 and my mothers' dementia
was getting worse. I am thankful for this special time I was gifted
to share time with my parent.
