working in an aluminum manufacturing plant for 32 years to seek

employment in another manufacturing facility.

Extrustion and Die Shop Manager

I was responsible for all Press and Die Shop activities

related to the aluminum extrusion plant .

I worked closely with the Plant Manager in maintaining an

excellent safety record.

I was a supervisor for 17 years then was promoted to manager

and held this position for 8 years.

I managed a three shift crew that consist of 54 associates.

I was responsible safety, osha training for the crew,

personnel, quality,production, scrap reduction,extruding the

material in a timely matter so it could be processed,packed

and shipped to the customer on time .

Ordering supplies as needed,training crew to new techniques,

calibration of all the equipment in the department,as well as

heat treating the material that was extruded.

I met the goal that was assigned to me of reducing the

department scrap from 29 percent to 23 percent. That was a

saving of $150,000 per year for the company.

I coordinated the replacement program for dies with the

company’s die vendors.

Perfect attendance for five consecutive years.
