Fairbank, PA. Managed a start-up distributor that began with

zero customer base and grew business to profitable annual pace

within first year. Performed all selling, purchasing and engineering

functions. Owner closed company due to health problems

Regional Sales Manager Power Drives Incorporated,

Pittsburgh, PA (headquartered in Buffalo, NY). Managed a

customer base and oversaw the operation of a new branch

location for the company. In 3 years increased sales from zero to

become its fastest growing location. Company came under new

ownership and closed several branches, including Pittsburgh.

1973 to 2001

President Transmission Equipment Company, Pittsburgh,

PA. Performed all sales, engineering and management functions of

major regional power transmission distribution company. Prior to that

worked 14 years as Vice President serving as liason between 4

locations, supervised computer installation in 1980, trained

outside and inside salesmen, hiring, firing, sales and engineering.

Prior to that worked 8 years as inside salesman and warehouseman.

Owner died

and company closed due to lack of a written succession plan.
