and finances as well as writing out a schedule. I believe with my

Pleasant Garden girl's softball team, and am very active within my

. I am currently holding a temporary position through Adecco at the

Honda Power equipment Plant in Swepsonville, NC. I have been trained

on the operation of driving forklifts and a tugger to take engine

parts to the assembly line.

. At Wal-Mart, I was the support manager that implemented, trained and

developed the receiving area and the unloading and loading of trucks.

I coordinated a staff of 45 plus employees. My direction going forward

was to have the trucks unloaded overnight and drive the associates to

have the shelves stocked and areas zoned before 7am the next morning.

I also had the duties of evaluations and coaching.

. It was here that I learned how to really fine tune my organizational

skills and communication skills, because we have the biggest store in

the southeast. My interaction with customers has made me the human

being I am today. I have learned that to be in customer service you

have to have a servant's heart.

Blue Ridge Drilling and Blasting

. I intensively trained to become a rock driller and blaster for a local

company that removed rocks for the purpose of utilities, and roadways.

I developed into a proficient driller and blaster and worked my way up

to become the explosives manager of the dynamite, and explosive

devices. My responsibilities included being in compliance with

Homeland security and with the ATF. I produced accurate counts for

each of these organizations when they came to do surprise inspections

and they found that all of my records and books were in order.

. I was of great value to this organization and was considered

irreplaceable. However the job market fell out in construction and the

owner was forced to lay us all off.

. I believe that the organizational skills and record keeping techniques

that I obtained will greatly benefit me as I pursue my career goals.

Ham's Restaurant

. At Ham's I started out as a server while working my way through

college and also being a single parent. I became such an asset to the

company that they promoted me to be the corporate trainer. Here I

opened new stores for the company and trained and developed everyone

that was hired.

. It was then that the company approached me to become a store manager

and oversee all aspects of the restaurant. I trained, developed, and

hired all incoming new prospective managers. I obtained extensive

knowledge of P&L statements and how to accurately take an on hands

inventory for the purpose of ordering products.

. I had the responsibilities of managing two restaurants at once and

writing a server and bar schedule of over one hundred employees. I

believe that these organizational skills and pre- planning will

definitely enhance my career as I pursue goal of becoming a successful

attorney.

. I effectively wrote a schedule for fifty plus employees and

aggressively controlled labor to put more money towards our bottom

line. I was responsible for all paper work, payroll, and the everyday

mechanics and operations of the carwash. When I started there were

five in existence. My career at Auto-Bell helped me to really become a

great manager of my time and my communication skills. When I left the

company we had opened over thirty other stores.

U.S. Navy

. I entered the Navy and was trained to become an Operations

Specialist. My duties included detecting enemy and non enemy aircraft

and vessels with the help of sonar. I took part on rescue missions;

land and swift water. I also passed the psychological test to get into

Bud's which is the Navy's most elite school, "The Navy Seals Team

School". I was medically discharged because I amputated a portion of

my right great toe.

It was here that I learned to pay attention to details and communicate

effectively with my Company Officer and my team members.
