Achievements

in-house processing, we saved around F$20k quarterly which resulted in an increase in

revenue.

• Part of the Team that redesigned the Inter Banks Special Answer Payment System this year,

2010 which benefitted our customers in accessing their funds within an hour when

compared to 3 hours prior to the new change.

Investment Accounts Officer/Accounts Services Officer – Operation Support Unit

• Responsible for processing of Term Deposit Maturity, Rollovers, Renewals & Prepayments

request upon receipt from branches. This enables customers to receive their requests

processed on time.

• In charge of processing of Special Answers, Dishonors & Periodical Payments to ensure that

these payments are processed within the arranged turnaround time (TAT). This function was

delegated from management to me as I am the most experienced staff in the section as there

are high risks involved in this process.

• Ensure that Payment transfers from Middle East to Fiji via fax or email are processed on a

timely manner to the respective beneficiary accounts and this generates revenue to the bank

via bank fees.

• Processed online all Data Input vouchers from head office daily.

• Ensure that Corporate Payments are processed and forwarded to other banks via RTGS

payment system on a timely manner and payments from other banks are being processed

and General Ledger entries reversed by the end of the day to avoid imbalances.

Relieving Supervisor Data Processing – Operation Support Unit 06/11/2006 – 01/12/2006

• Proactively managed 8 – member team with accountability and taking ownership of all

customers’ requests.

• Supervise daily processing of close to 10,000 payrolls received from all Government

departments & Companies on the pay day.

• Supervise and ensure that all payment functions that are needed to be processed and

forwarded to other banks within the turnaround time are processed efficiently.

• Supervise and ensure that all incoming payments from other banks and head office

departments that need to be credited in their respective accounts are processed on time.

• Supervise and ensure that all Government, Corporate queries and Individual queries

received from branches are attended and resolved in a timely manner.

• Spearhead audit review preparedness initiatives vital to ensure operations compliancy.

• Conduct weekly staff meetings & staff trainings to enhance customer services and to keep

an updates of bank functions.

Accounts Examiner – Operation Support Unit

• Peruse all reports forwarded by branches against insufficient accounts report (ISF) generated

by IT and collate data for overdrawn purposes (30days/60days/90days) are processed within

the time frame. This reduces the overdrawn figures and increases revenue.

• Ensure that all overdrawn forms are received from branches to avoid delays, thus constant

follow-ups are to be made to the branches in order to recover the funds.

Customer Service Representative – Teller and New Account 1998 - 2002

• Provided comprehensive customer support through performance of a variety of teller

activities including handling of cash and cheque deposits.

• Ensure & responsible for providing teller transaction efficiently and quality services to

customers.

• Responsible for Processing of Drafts, Telegraphic Transfers (TT’s) & Travellers Cheques

(TC’s) and Foreign Notes which generates income through exchange rates.
