EXPERIENCE

ISLAND TANS Midland, Tx 3/2004 to 7/2006

• When I began working at Island Tans I entered as a (tanning) bed cleaner at the

age of fifteen.

• Shortly after my Sixteenth birthday I was given a raise and promoted to work

sales at the front. My responsibilities included signing new customers, checking

in others, doing inventory, and overseeing the bed cleaners.

• After a couple months I would also assist in training new girls, and was given the

responsibility of opening and closing the store when the owners were out of

town, also I would do all of the register close out duties and calculate the sales.

• I left upon graduation of High School to move to the Houston area.

HOOTERS Shenandoah, Tx 1/2007 to 7/2007

• I enjoyed my time as a “Hooters Girl”. This was my first waitressing job and I

clearly had a knack for quick, friendly customer service and superior table

maintenance.

• After a few months I was offered to work on the “Promo Team” which gave me

opportunity to get out of the restaurant and represent Hooters at special events

such as bike races and charity car washes for our local fire department.

• I left Hooters because the management staff was very unstable, we went through

nine managers in just seven months. Also the late hours interfered with my focus

on my college courses.

CARLTON WOODS CC The Woodlands, Tx 8/2007 to 12/2007

• Carlton Woods Country Club was ranked third best golf course in the nation at

the time of my employment! I was a server in the club house and also worked all

special events.

• I gained knowledge of fine dining and wine presentation. Also I gained

relationships with many elite members and would work some private parties for

them.

• Sadly I left to move to the Corpus Christi area to be with my father.

Education and Personal Information

I have already completed two years of community college. My major is Communications

with a focus in journalism and a minor in photojournalism. I also had completed training

and been certified as a Nurse Aide and completed two years of cosmetology, all while I

was still in High School. I have a little over three years of training in photography, do

own my own equipment and am great at designing informational tools. I also can speak,

read, and write basic Spanish.

While in Corpus Christi, I bartended at a bar called Mulligans but made cash and

wasn’t paid by the bar itself, per a connection with a friend. I also worked seasonally at

P.F. Changs as a server and currently work as a cocktail waitress for poker games. In

total I have approximately four years of serving experience and three in retail.

Summary

Since I was young I’ve always dreamed of having a career in which I could travel and

meet people from all walks of life. I love to travel and I am excellent at being attentive to

peoples’ needs. I am great at making everyone around me comfortable and I have a

very bubbly personality. I am up to working late hours, and traveling everywhere

internationally. I am excited and hopeful to take an opportunity working within the airline

industry.
