Personal Statement

I am a driven, intelligent, friendly person, who has a desire to complete any obstacle or

task which is placed in front of me. Although my work experience is limited I am an

extremely quick learner, and am ambitious and creative when it comes to finding the

most efficient ways to complete a task. I am hoping to obtain a position where I can help

others while I develop and excel in my own skills.

Work Experience

Baby Sitting (Jan. 2006- Present)

Self Employed, Eureka Ca.

• As a babysitter I cooked and cleaned

• I dealt with difficult situations in a calm, mature manner

• I was concerned with the safety of all situations

Barn Brigade Member (Jan. 2004- Aug. 2008)

Sequoia Park Zoo, Eureka Ca

• In this position I was responsible for cleaning up after animals and visitors

• I was responsible for dealing with people of all ages, and settling any issues in a manner

that did not disgrace mine or the company’s image

• I was punctual, and had to complete all tasks at the allotted time

Junior High Cheerleading Coach (Oct. 2007- Dec. 2007)

• I was responsible for the care and safety of every girl on the squad

• I had to use my creative skills to create cheers and routines for the girls to perform

I retained over a 3.0 for all four years of my high school career. My graduating GPA was

a 3.64. I was awarded Soroptomist Girl of the month in October, and a Scholastic Super

Student in November. I played four years of varsity basketball and volleyball, three years

of varsity soccer, and one year of varsity softball and track. I was the team captain of the

varsity basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams for my junior and senior years. I also held

the position of class president freshman through senior year, and was an active member

of the National Honors Society, and the California Scholarship Federation.
