As technical support engineer, provide worldwide advanced level 3
networking and communications support for Triton Systems of Dover'
operations in North America and 17 countries worldwide. Implement and
install system security patches with customer ATMs in accordance with
Payment Card Industry security directives. Ensure all ATM software and
hardware meets or exceeds industry security requirements. Diagnose
customer problems to include connectivity issues, hardware and software
incompatibility issues, configuration of hardware and software, and

database software in both LAN and WAN environments on CISCO based switches.
Performed all aspects of system configuration for both Windows XP, 2000 and
NT client systems. Responsible for the entire system setup and maintained
Domain Name Services, Network Information Services and Network Files
Services. As the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), I reported to
the JCALS Project Manager and served as the site focal point for all
security related issues. Created and maintained a Security Standard
Operating Procedure for the system. As ISSO, maintained a current server
configuration guide, local security regulations, the local Automated
Information System (AIS) accreditation documents and Security Sustainment
Letter of Agreement (SSLOA). Ensured that the JCALS system was operated,
managed, secured and used under the internal policies and procedures.
Performed the annual AIS accreditation baseline evaluating the systems and
documenting the results in the Certification and Accreditation package
under DITSCAP guidelines. Ensured that appropriate physical security was

As Systems Engineer 3, provided hardware and systems support for the Naval
Meteorology and Oceanography Command (COMNAVMETOCCOM) located at Stennis
Space Center, MS. Responsible for implementing Multi-level Security (MLS)
guards throughout the naval claimancy at worldwide sites requiring transfer
of data from differing security levels. Operating systems involved were
Trusted Solaris 8 version 12/02 and Solaris 8 version 12/02. Hardware
systems being utilized were state-of-the-art Sun 280R multi-processors
servers, Sun Blade 2000 servers, and Sun Blade 150 workstations.
Senior Systems Engineer, Unix LAN/WAN Environment
2001 - 2003
Performed duties as a Senior Systems Engineer for the 81st Training Support

for over 3,000 direct end users and 27 user organizations base-wide.
Managed the computer security certification and accreditation of 27
individual user local area networks. Organized and trained 25 organization
computer managers to support their respective squadrons. Directed the
certification and accreditation of Kunsan's base network after a major
software/hardware upgrade. Ensured that the upgrades did not compromise
network security, minimizing vulnerability to cyber-attacks. Conducted
Communications and Computer Security and Secure Telephone Unit training for
over 3,000 personnel. Managed the creation of all Defense Message System
accounts at Kunsan AB. Performed duties as System Administrator and
Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the DMS Certificate

approximately 1500 recruiting personnel at over 80 locations. Performed
duties as the Computer Systems Security Officer (CSSO) responsible for all
governing regulations relating to computer security. Duties included
establishing/deleting accounts, controlling file access, assigning and
maintaining security levels, and recovering from security violations.

management to include installing hardware and software, managing the
directory/file systems, performing system backups and restores, and
