. Responsible for ensuring that the drinking water for the city of

Kendallville was of the highest quality.

. Performed daily water chemical tests, checking the levels of fluoride,

manganese, chlorine, iron, potassium, etc. and making necessary

adjustments.

. Backwashed 600-750 thousand gallon water filters both manual and

electric (Rotork) valves.

. Regenerated Brine water softeners as needed.

. Scheduled and received Brine deliveries.

. Obtained bacteriological, radiological, SOC's, VOC's, water samples

from various points in the system sending them to proper state

agencies along with proper paper work.

. Performed maintenance on all high service pumps, changing valves,

seals and packing.

. Monitored the entire system by computer as well, using "SCADA" and

"Citect" operating systems.

. Proficient in obtaining data from water meters, telemetry panels,

gauges, etc.

. Performed daily cleaning duties i.e. sweeping, vacuuming, mopping,

waxing, etc.

. Installed water main, repaired water main breaks ranging in size from

4" to 12".

. Used Hydro-stopping equipment on many occasions.

. Finished concrete, constructed framework, and ran electrical wiring,

installed junction boxes and outlets.

. Hung many sheets of drywall and finished them to including paint.

. Installed water lines, installed urinals, toilets, sinks and various

other plumbing.

. Assisted in the construction of 3 new well houses averaging 24 ft. x

40ft.

. Competent in the use of various types of equipment on a consistent

basis. Backhoe, bobcat, dump truck, compressor blower, sewer vactor,

jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, utility locating equipment, and

most hand held power tools.
