Role: Technical Project Manager

Description

Business Properties (GE Real Estate) provides financing to Middle Market &

Small Business Markets. Business Properties maintained pool of applications

such as BP ATLAS, BP Manage Accounts, Pocket Analyst, Marketing reports.

Bank of UTAH Project

Bank of UTAH is source for future funding for Business Properties; project

was implemented to align BP applications to suit & adhere with Bank of

Utah's banking regulations.

Server Migration Project

Windows 2000 servers were being retired & Windows 2003 servers have been

introduced. Perform installation & configuration of Windows 2003 servers to

host BP applications. .NET framework 3.5.1, Application Centre, CLBS

cluster Citrix terminal services.

SQL 2008 Server Migration Project

Migration of SQL 2000 databases used by BP applications to SQL 2008

database, SQL Server Integration Services, Businesses Intelligence

services.

Business Properties (.Net Migration Project)

Involved in upgrading entire BP legacy applications using VB6.0, classic

ASP to .NET platform. Coordinating between client & teams based

Role: Lead Architect

ATLAS. System is a complete solution for Lending Administration, includes

modules such as Deal Structuring, Account Setup, Account Servicing, and

Terminations. Batch jobs run daily, weekly, fiscal and year end for

Interest calculations, APS file transfer, Disbursements, Cash application,

Invoice, Letters generation, interfacing with other sub systems etc. ACE is

rule-based application, which interfaced with ATLAS System to handle all

financial sub ledger activities. Front-end application consists of around

250+ screens; middle tier consists of 50+ components and stored procedures,

triggers & DTS packages on database server. Worked as part of design team

coding of middle tier services. Coding & testing of middle tier re-usable

components. Coding & testing front-end screens using 3rd party components.

Heller Conversion Project: - Projects involving Conversion of data from

Info lease application to BP ATLAS Application. Identify functionality gaps

& enhancing application.

Manage Accounts Project: - Manage Account is web-based application which

provides GE clients capability to manage their accounts online, View

details, Invoices, payments due and histories, changes to account,

requests, complaints etc. This is being developed to support multiple

applications in GE Commercial Finance. This ASP application was hosted on

IIS server using XML as data transfer mechanism between client browser &

web server.

Datamatics Limited (Newcastle UK & Mumbai, INDIA) Dec 1997 - Oct

2000

Role: System Analyst

Responsibilities included performing detailed needs analysis for various

business units at the customer site, creating in-depth design

specifications and high level architectures for various Commercial Projects

as determined by the needs analysis, Code and test these applications

utilizing such Microsoft technologies and various Project Management tools

and relational databases as necessary, assist with any required technical

support on developed solutions, run usage analysis and tests on the

applications developed. Improve the process of creating such applications.

System was developed for VPT, a leading port in India; cover areas like

Port and Rail Operations, Finance, Personal and Material Management System.

Prepare System and program design flow diagrams for technical design and

user manuals. Work Scheduling, Co-ordination, Minutes, and Agenda

preparation, and Issues follow-up, internal team meetings. Writing

technical specifications and developing and designing process flow.

British Airways - UK (Newcastle Upon Type, UK)

ACHORD System: - handles all Human Resources related activates of British

Airways such as Severance, Retirement programs and staff travel options. As

a Programmer Analyst, was involved in design, development and

implementation of the system for handling various user requirements and

investigating LIVE aborts. S-390 IBM Mainframe systems, CICS, DB2, COBOL

British Airways - UK

AIRTRACK System (Development): - This project was development project for

British Airways to track user charges for flight related information. This

application would store all the details related to flight plans, based on

this data it would work out the expected cost for the user. Provides

ability to generate user charges budget, business plans and forecast.

Involved in coding source programs using the Design documents provided.

Preparation of Unit test plans and Walkthrough forms.
