Professional Experiences

8/2009 - Present Sears Part time Tools/Lawn & Garden Sales Associate

I am responsible for the sale of Craftsman hand and power tools, accessories, Lawn & Garden equipment, patio furniture,

fitness equipment, BBQ grilles/accessories and toys.

It is also my responsibility as a sales associate to have knowledge of all equipment sold through this department in order to

better serve the customer.

I am also responsible for operating the cash register, handling money, checks and credit/gift cards.

12/2007 - 2/2009 Shea Properties Director of Tenant Coordination

Shea Properties was in the process of constructing it’s first big retail project in Oxnard California and Shea hired me to start up

their new division for Tenant Coordination. The Lifestyle Center was to include approximately (100) inline retail/food tenants,

(5) pad tenants, (2) majors and (1) mini major. The Development group was very small, but with my hire their were big plans to

expand their retail portfolio.

I was responsible and successfully set up their new division with a Tenant Coordination Procedure Manual, set the basis for

the design criteria, created new forms and setup a tracking system to track all tenant budgets/activities.

8/2004 - 11/2007 Macerich Senior Tenant Coordinator/AVP, Tenant Coordination

Macerich is one of the largest owners of retail malls in the world and as the Senior Tenant Coordinator I was in charge of all

renovations/expansion projects for Tenant Coordination. As the AVP, Tenant Coordination I was in charge of their West Coast

office which included (25) centers located in Oregon, Washington, Nevada and California

As the Senior Tenant Coordinator I provided all scheduling for Tenant Coordination, TC budgets, staffing, reviewed new and

existing leases and assembled design criteria for all renovation/expansion projects. My team was able to open two (2)

expansions with all tenants with signed leases.

Other responsibilities as the Senior were to review & approve all tenant design/signage drawings, provide budgeting for all

Landlord work for expansion tenants and assist leasing with space planning for prospective tenants.

As the AVP I managed their West Coast office with a staff of (3) Cad Operators, (5) Tenant Coordinators and (3)

Administrative Assistants.

Also as the AVP I set up the yearly budget for the Tenant Coordinators, budgeting/staffing for all TC projects, assisted in the

organization of new design criteria’s, met with tenants as needed and mentored all new Tenant Coordinators.

Project - Washington Square - Portland, OR - - - One level expansion - (30) new inline retail and restaurants. The expansion

opened with 90% occupancy and on time. This expansion included (9) tenants with exterior exposure and 40’-0” high

storefronts. Typically tenants storefronts range from 10’ to 16’ high so it was our responsibility to get those tenants to design

something much higher and it was very successful.

4/2000 - 8/2004 Westfield Tenant Coordinator/Director

Westfield is one of the largest mall owners in the world with centers in Australia, England and the United States. As the Tenant

Coordinator I was responsible for all of their Los Angeles centers, which included Century City and Topanga Plaza, and JFK’s

Continental Airlines terminal retail tenants.

As a Tenant Coordinator I reviewed all tenant design/signage drawings to ensure they followed the design criteria standards

and dealt with all tenant/architect/tenant contractor issues prior to the signing of the lease to the opening of the store for all

tenants in (9) centers located in Southern California.

I also assisted our leasing agents with space planning for prospective tenants.

As a Director I was responsible for one (1) direct report (she was responsible for properties in the San Diego region) as well

as taking care of the Los Angeles properties at the same time.

Project - Valley Fair - San Jose, CA - - - Two level expansion - (90) new inline retail and (12) Food Court tenant’s. Center

opened 90% occupied and on time. At the time this was one of their most successful openings.

3/1992 - 2/2000 C&J Partners VP of Production

C&J Partners was a small interior architectural design company focusing on department store interiors ranging from a four (4)

level renovation for Macy’s Sherman Oaks to a fourteen (9) level department store (Central Department Store) in Bangkok and TI

projects such as Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf stores across the Los Angeles area.

I created budget proposals for new clients, maintained relationships with our existing portfolio of clients, dealt with many of

the everyday office duties, hired/fired staff, provided scheduling of technical personnel for all projects and reviewed all

drawings for completeness prior to issuing to our clients.

I was responsible for designing lighting layouts and specifying light fixtures for all projects.

I also provided assistance to my teams with space planning/detailing and creating merchandise/stockroom layouts for TI and

department store projects.

Project - Windsor Fashions - Los Angeles, CA - - - Created new prototype design concept for local clothiers (6) Los Angeles

stores.
