WORK EXPERIENCE:
9/05 - 2/07 MEDCOST LLC, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Began as part time
receptionist with security duties and working as switchboard operator for
incoming calls. Left for a brief period due to needs of business and
returned to report to Director of Human Resources. Responsibilities
included contacting prospective new employees, setting up interviews,
testing and maintaining resume files. Used Microsoft Office Word and Excel
to type correspondence for Director and maintained miscellaneous data
files. Filled in for receptionist on her lunch hour, breaks, and vacation.
Maintained scheduling board for financial group.
7/92 - 8/93 CENTRAL COAST STAFFING, Santa Maria, California. Various
positions to include legal secretary in attorney's office using Word
Perfect 5.1 on DOS PC. Duties included editing legal documents and machine
transcription. Executive secretary in Engineering and Marketing departments
at a satellite communications corporation. Duties included document
preparation for visas, compiling weekly sales reports and editing status
reports for engineers on a Macintosh using Microsoft Word.

Services Manager duties include word processing and editing all
correspondence and proposals from Director, Dean of Computer
Science/Engineering and Business Chair using Microsoft WORD on Macintosh SE
Computer. Receptionist duties include answering

University. Accounting responsibilities include preparation of Daily Cash

for four weeks in Development at the University of California, Santa
Barbara campus, in the office of the Executive Director of the UCSB
Foundation. Primary responsibilities included receptionist, word processing
using Microsoft WORD on a Macintosh SE, generating and proofreading
correspondence and proposals, operating duplicating equipment, filing,
using calligraphy skills, and accessing confidential records using an IBM
compatible computer. Worked additional assignments at TCO Insurance
Services in Solvang in the legal department and in the QUEST department at
UCSB as receptionist.
1984 - 1984 COMPUTER TERMINAL, Lompoc, California. Worked as a Clerk/Typist
keeping inventory and sales records on computer. Resigned position due to
automobile accident and resulting injury.
1964 - 1966 BURROUGHS CORPORATION, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Hired as
Clerk/Typist and promoted six months later to District Secretary.
Responsibilities included all secretarial duties of the District Manager
and the eight other District Officers. These responsibilities included
answering the telephone, typing and reproducing correspondence with the
eleven branch offices, keeping track of the managers when they were away
from the office, preparing financial reports for District meetings, and
maintaining the file system. Responsibilities also included the training of
other clerical help. Resigned from position due to husband being hired and
transferred by AT&T.
