For the last 3 years, I have been employed at Kelly Aerospace. Hi red as a member of a new

team brought in to reorganize the Machine Shop, my main objective was to create a more

s treamlined and efficient manufacturing environment. I designed and implemented a ‘first

p iece’ inspection program which greatly reduced non-conforming material. In turn, this

i ncreased productivity. My team created a new 5S program as well. Over the course of

approximately a 2 year period, the Machine Shop productivity more than doubled and non-

conforming material was reduced to less that 1.5%.

I n March of 2010, I was promoted to Manager of Core Processing at Kelly Aerospace. This

a rea had not been given much focus for the past several years and I set about implementing

lean practices and reorganizing this area thereby more than doubling the volume of product

p roduced.

W hile I have enjoyed the experience at Kelly Aerospace and the recent opportunity in Core

P rocessing, my desire is to be involved in manufacturing and quality and would very much

l ike to get back in to this environment.

Some of the strengths I would bring with my employment are my excellent people skills. I

am very organized, detail-oriented, think fast on my feet, and very much dedicated to the

policy of doing i t r ight the fi rst time. Employees that I have had over the years have
