As a server I took care of customers by taking orders, serving food, and
maintaining a clean environment. I also served as cashier and eventually
was given managerial duties such as training new employees and supervising

Florida Center for Survivors of Torture: I helped refugees for 3-5 hours a
week acclimate to their new life in the United States by tutoring, teaching
English and socializing with children.
Community Development Internship with PROWorld: Traveled to Mysore, India
for 4 weeks to work in an alternative school for impoverished and out
casted children. I taught English and created a mural for the schools brand
new auditorium.
